For this international couple, Portugal was the chosen location for the wedding because they wanted to get married by the Ocean, take advantage of the mild weather and have an outdoor ceremony.

The first time they visited Villa Guia | Portugal Wedding Villa they instantly envisioned their ceremony happening in the Atlantic Garden. The broad view of the Ocean enchanted them. They also appreciated the possibility of accommodating all guest at the venue, making it extremely comfortable to gather people coming from different countries and different areas of Portugal. For her Wedding day, Tamara’s main request was that there would be lots of flowers. Working closely with the Wedding Planners team and our in-house florist, she shared inspirational boards which would lead to the lavish outcome. Beautiful floral arrangements were placed everywhere, tastefully and remarkably executed. All florals were of a pastel pink and blue palette except for her Bridal bouquet: an all-white Peonies bouquet.

Tamara was a stylish romantic Bride in her princess cut wedding dress with a layered A-line skirt and embroidered long-sleeved bodice. She wore her golden locks naturally styled and accessorized it with a beautiful hairpiece to hold her classic long veil. The Groom wore an elegant pale blue suit with a white waistcoat and the Bridesmaids all in pastel pink dresses coordinated beautifully with the floral decoration of the Bridal Arch.

After the romantic and amusing ceremony, Pedro surprised Tamara with a love declaration overflying the gardens in a plane banner. She was so amazed by his sweet and thoughtful gesture. It was one of the highlights of the day.

The couple’s traditional photographic session was held at the unique Guincho wild dunes nature reserve, where newlyweds could enjoy some time alone before the Wedding reception.

The elegant panoramic dining room of the Hotel’s Terrassa Restaurant with a sea view, decorated with pink and blue florals welcomed guests to a tasty dinner of Portuguese and Mediterranean inspiration. An adorable cake cutting ceremony followed it in the Villa’s Courtyard. The wedding planning team created a beautiful setting for the cake. A round table surrounded by floor florals decorations and placed in front of the water fountain also adorned with lovely flowers, where the classic white and gold bridal cake by a local wedding pastry chef was placed. In this magical scenario, everyone lighted individual fireworks wishing for a bright future for the newlyweds.
