Being based in England and getting married in Portugal at Villa Guia, I was slightly nervous, but Villa Guias's wedding planner ensured I had nothing to worry. The communication leading up to the wedding was excellent, highly responsive, nothing was too much, and everything was planned to the smallest detail. Flexibility with the menu, with accommodating many guests requests and advising on the best possible deals. On the day itself - what can I say - as the bride, I had nothing to think or worry about other than enjoy every second of my wedding day. I do want to mention the food in a little more detail - it was the most delicious wedding meal I have ever tasted - many guests kept calling me even two weeks after the wedding to tell me how amazing the food was.

It was a true blessing to have Villa Guia as our wedding venue!
Having looked at several venues and options last year we decided to pick Villa Guia as our wedding venue in Portugal. It had the right look, feel, space and features for our wedding. Planning an Indian destination wedding was a huge task but Rita and the team at Villa Guia made it effortless.
In the build up to the wedding Rita was responsive and catered for our every need, fireworks, horses, flowers, Indian food the list is endless...no request was too big or troublesome and our 5 different events at the venue were perfect. Villa Guia housed the majority of our 120 plus wedding guests and the staff including the reservations manager were very accommodating!
