Lauren and Scott’s Destination Wedding at Villa Guia |Portugal Wedding Villa was splendid. Since their first online meeting with our Wedding Planning team, Lauren and Scott, a couple from Ireland, expressed their desire to hold a refined Wedding. They wanted their wedding day in Portugal to be exquisite and took care of planning every detail, aiming to delight their large group of guests. For a long time, they’ve been dreaming of their wedding day and wanted everything to be perfect.

At Villa Guia | Portugal Wedding Villa they had the opportunity to extend the time shared with family and friends since it’s a wedding venue with accommodation. The entire group arrived at Senhora da Guia Boutique Hotel on the wedding eve and appreciated the location closeness to the airport. For their guests, most of them travelling from Ireland, the time spent between their homes and the wedding venue was quite manageable and not tiresome at all. It turned out to be a very appreciated feature since many were senior guests, and some guests travelled with children.

On the Wedding day, the Bride and her Bridesmaids had a lot of fun preparing for the ceremony. In the spacious Exclusive Bridal Suite, with their matching satin robes, suitably embroidered in the back with the “Bride to Be”, for the Bride and the “Bride’s Squad”, for the Bridesmaids, enjoyed a light meal in the terrace, toasted with champagne, and welcomed the makeup and hair team suggested by Villa Guia | Portugal Wedding Villa’s Wedding Planners.

In the meantime, Villa Guia | Portugal Wedding Villa’s production team set up the ceremony stage in the Atlantic Garde following the couple’s inspiration. The Bridal arch was decorated with a luxurious floral garland with a range of bright pink and white flowers and some greenery, and loose white flowing curtains and framed the beautiful blue Ocean.

The guest chairs set facing the sea with small decorative bouquets and pink fabric drapes on every other aisle chair, and the aisle floor in between them fully covered in petals completed the refined scene. The ceremony setting was also embellished by the singularity of many of the lady guest’s hats.

Lauren and Scott dressed elegantly in white and light blue, respectively, were very high spirited during the affectionate ceremony and felt truly happy in the end. Following the beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony, a cocktail awaited the guests in Villa Guia | Portugal Wedding Villa’s charming courtyard, decorated with lights strings, white festival banners and several cosy lounge areas. The wedding planners team created a special children corner with sweet treats which turned out to be very appreciated among younger guests.

As almost all our newlyweds Lauren and Scott walked to the nearby seaside cliff, strolled and had a photographic session. This unique, intimate moment after the ceremonies, in such beautiful natural scenery, is highly valued by couples getting married at Villa Guia | Portugal Wedding Villa.

Once back at the wedding venue, Lauren, Scott, and their guest enjoyed a tasty and elegant reception dinner at Terrassa Restaurant. In gorgeously decorated tables with high luscious floral centrepieces and pale pink candles, the Chef served delicious delicacies, while everyone could overlook the ocean from the large panoramic windows.

The Cake Cutting ceremony outdoors with stick fireworks and the animated Dance party, remarkably finalized Lauren and Scott’s fabulous wedding day in Portugal.
